The steering consists of a steering wheel, steering column, steering gear and rack and pinion steering gear. The steering wheel is fixed on the steering column shaft and transmits power to the gear rack gear.
On each side of the rack steering gear is connected with a ball joint tie rod. The steering traction force transmitted through the steering tips and rotary fists to the front wheels. This design has a light steering the course with no play by turning the steering wheel from lock to lock.
Sealing steering gear from water and foreign material is rubber protective covers, sealing the inner ends of steering drafts and transmission housing and the third cover, shaft seal, gear and intermediate shaft of a steering column.
To replace the steering gear lubricant needs to be removed from the vehicle and disassembled.
