Repair of power steering pump



Power steering pump

1 - suction pipe;
2 - O-ring;
3 - connector;
4 - O-ring;
5 - a control valve;

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Attach the power steering pump in a vise jaws close brass.
2. Remove the two mounting bolts for the power steering pump and remove the bracket.
3. Remove the two screws on the suction pipe and remove the suction pipe.
4. Remove the O-ring of the suction pipe from the power steering pump.
5. Remove the plug from the power steering pump.
6. Remove the four O-rings from the socket.
7. Remove the control valve from the valve opening the power steering pump.
8. Remove the spring from the valve opening the power steering pump.
9. Perezakrepite pump in a vise so that you can unscrew the four screws on the rear of the pump housing.
10. Remove the back of the pump housing.
11. Remove O-ring from the housing.
12. Remove the stator ring.
13. Remove the rotor.
14. Remove the blade.
15. Remove the side plate.
16. Remove the two O-rings from the side plate.

Check


A warning

If necessary, replace the power steering pump assembly.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the front and rear portions of the pump housing for cracks, damage, and uneven wear of the rotor.
2. Check the surface of the stator ring, mating with the blades in the absence of uneven wear.
3. Check the surface of the side plate and the pump housing, matched with moving parts in the absence of uneven wear.
4. Check the clearance between the rotor and blades.
5. Check the control valve for cracks, damage and uneven wear of the rotor.
6. Check the condition of the control valve spring.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the two O-rings in the side plate.
2. Install the side plate.
3. Align the holes of the side plate to facilitate installation of the rear of the chassis.
4. Set up the rotor identification mark.
5. Install the flat portions of ten blades in the rotor slots.
6. Install the cam ring with an identification mark down.
7. Install the rear O-ring.
8. Set the back of the case.
9. Install and tighten the four screws on the rear of the chassis.

Torque: 18-22 N ??? m

10. Install the spring and the control valve in the valve hole of the power steering pump.

11. Replace the four O-rings in the socket.

12. Install and secure the connector.

Torque: 49-69 N ??? m

13. Install the O-ring of the suction pipe in the power steering pump.

14. Install the suction pipe and replace the two screws on the suction pipe.

Tightening torque: 6-9 N ??? m

15. Establish an arm of the power steering pump and fix two bolts.

Torque: 29-39 N ??? m
