Preliminary checks
GEAR BACKLASH 3 transfers
PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Measure the clearance between the gear 3rd gear and the pinion 2 transfers. Nominal backlash: 0,06-0,21 mm Maximum permissible backlash: 0,26 mm | 2. If the clearance exceeds the limit, check the contact surface of the gear 3rd gear, 2nd gear transmission and clutch hub synchronizer 2nd / 3rd gear. Replace worn or damaged parts. |
|
CLEARANCE GEAR 4th gear PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Measure the clearance between the gear 4th transfer and the bearing. Nominal backlash: 0,1-0,37 mm Maximum permissible backlash: 0,57 mm | 2. If the clearance exceeds the limit, check the contact surface of the gear, bearing and synchronizer clutch 3rd / 4th gear. Replace worn or damaged parts. |
|
Dismantling A warning Hold the shaft with one hand so as to prevent it from falling.
PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Using a press and special adaptation OK130 175 008 remove the bearing from the shaft. | 2. Remove the gear wheel of 4th transfer | | 3. Remove the retaining ring. | 4. Remove the synchronizer clutch 3rd / 4th gear synchronizer ring 3 transfers and a gear wheel of 3 transfers. | | 5. Stripper OK670 990 AA0, remove the bearing from a primary shaft. |
|
Check Synchronizer ring PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Visually check the condition of the synchronizer ring teeth for damage, wear and cracks. | | 2. Check the condition of the conical surface for damage, wear and cracks.
| A warning Establish a synchronizer ring in a gear, and measure the clearance between the synchronizer ring and the surface of the flange gear.
| 3. Measure the clearance between the synchronizer ring and the surface of the flange gear.
Nominal backlash: 1.1-1.4 mm Minimum clearance: 0.8 mm |
|
PRIMARY SHAFT A warning If replacement of the pinion input shaft, adjust the bearing preload.
PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Check heartbeat seat gear input shaft. Maximum allowable runout: 0.1 mm | 2. Check the splines primary shaft. | 3. Check the condition of the surface of the gear teeth for damage, wear and cracks. |
|
Gear wheel of 3, 4 TH, 5th transfer and backing transfer PERFORMANCE ORDER | | | 1. Measure the clearance between the shaft gears and the gears.
Element | The gap lubrication, mm | A shaft (outer diameter) | 34.987 - 34.998 | The shaft (inside diameter) | 40.009 - 40.025 | With sleeve (outer diameter) | 30.94 - 30.97 | Pinion 3rd gear | 31.00 - 31.02 | Gear 4th transfer | 34.00 - 34.02 | Gear 5th gear | 33.94 - 33.97 |
| 2. Inspect the hub gear 5th gear for damage. | | 3. Inspect the condition of the surface of the gear teeth for damage, wear and cracks. |
|
BEARING PERFORMANCE ORDER | | Check the bearing on absence of damages and smoothness of rotation. |
|
Assembly PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Place the gear 3rd gear, synchronizer ring and clutch synchronizer. | | 2. Establish a new lock ring. | 3. Install the gear wheel of 4th transfer. | 4. Using a press, install the bearing. |
|
Check PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Measure the clearance between the gear 3rd gear and the pinion 2 transfers. Nominal backlash: 0,06-0,21 mm Maximum permissible backlash: 0,26 mm
| | 2. Measure the clearance between the gear 4th transfer and the bearing. Nominal backlash: 0,1-0,37 mm Maximum permissible backlash: 0,57 mm | 3. If the backlash differs from demanded values, disassemble and reassemble the gearbox output shaft. |
