Selecting shims

Adjust the preload of bearings and select shims as follows.

Primary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the input shaft into the clutch housing.
2. Place the gearbox housing on the clutch housing and tighten bolts to torque.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

3. Establish a measuring tip of a dial indicator to the end of the primary shaft and measure the end play for input shaft.

Axial clearance: 0-0,10 mm

4. Select the nearest thickness shim from the following series: 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 mm

Output shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the socket and the outer ring of the bearing in the clutch housing.
2. Install the secondary shaft in the clutch housing.
3. Establish an external ring of the bearing of a secondary shaft in the clutch housing.
4. Install the gearbox housing on the clutch housing and tighten bolts to torque.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

5. Establish a measuring tip of the indicator of hour type in an end face of a secondary shaft and measure the end play a secondary shaft.

Axial clearance: 0.05-0.10 mm

6. Select the pad as follows.
a) Add 0.03 mm to the measured backlash.
b) Add 0.08 mm to the measured backlash.
c) Select the thickest gasket in the range between (a) and (b).

Example: 0.22 mm
0.22 + 0.03 = 0.25 mm
0.22 + 0.08 = 0.30 mm
Range: 0.25-0.30 mm
Choose: 0.30 mm

The thickness of the shims mm - 0.20, 0.25, 0.30, 0.35, 0.40, 0.45, 0.50, 0.70

Differential

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the outer ring of the bearing in the clutch housing.
2. Place the differential in the clutch housing.

A warning

Turn the A and B, while the gap in the picture will not be eliminated.

3. Install the outer ring of the bearing on special adaptation OK900 175 AA0.
4. Install adaptation OK900 175 AA0 in the areas shown in the figure.
5. Tighten the adaptation OK900 175 AA0 required torques.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

A warning

Tighten the screws so that adaptation OK900 175 AA0 could not move.

6. Install the steel rods into the holes A and B of the selector and rotate the selector to increase the gap.
7. Turn in the opposite direction to eliminate backlash.
8. A gearbox housing set adaptation OK900 175 AA0 / OK130 322 020 in the differential satellite.
9. Turn the adaptation OK130 322 020 spring balance. Turning tool steel bars, achieve the desired preload.

Preload: 1.4-2.0 N ??? m

10. Remove the adaptation OK130 322 020.
11. Measure the clearance adaptation OK900 175 AA0.
12. Choose the thickness of the shim, whose thickness is greatest closest to the measured clearance.

The thickness of the shims mm - 0.1, 0.2, 0.25, 0.30, 0.35, 0.40, 0.45, 0.50, 0.55, 0.60, 0.65, 0.70, 0.75, 0.80, 0.85, 0.90

13. Remove the adaptation OK900 175 AA0.
14. Remove the gearbox housing and adaptation OK900 175 AA0.
15. Remove the outer ring of the bearing from adaptation OK900 175 AA0.
16. Install selected shim thickness and the outer ring of the bearing in the gearbox housing.

Differential bearing preload

Measure the preload as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Place the differential in the gearbox housing.
2. Place the gearbox housing on the clutch housing.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

3. A gearbox housing set adaptation OK900 175 AA0 on the differential satellite.
4. Measure the bearing preload.

Preload: 1.4-2.0 N ??? m
5. If the preload is not correct, adjust the preload of the bearing.
6. Remove the adaptation OK900 175 AA0.
7. Remove the gearbox housing and the differential.
