Safety precautions when working with electronic ignition system
In the electronic ignition MAZDA 323 ignition voltage up to 30 kV. Under unfavorable circumstances, such as moisture in the engine compartment, the voltage peaks can penetrate the insulation and cause a shock when touched. To avoid injury and damage to the ignition system, at work, consider the following: - Do not touch the hand and does not turn off the ignition cable to the engine is running or cranking the starter.
- Turn off the ignition wire only when the ignition is off.
- By the weight of the ignition coil can not connect a capacitor to suppress radio interference or voltage indicator.
- Connect and disconnect measuring devices only when the ignition is off.
- Ignition coil can not be replaced by another execution. In no case can not be installed ignition coil, designed for systems with breaker.
- When heated over 80 ? C (for example when painting) motor can not be started immediately after the heating.
- Sink engine producing only the engine off.
- When working spot welding or electrical battery should be disconnected complete.
- It does not work on the ignition system for people with pacemaker.
