Removing and installing sump



To seal the oil pan sealant used in the workshops MAZDA ?��852777739, it can be used as such a sealant based on silicone (eg, DOW CORNING Q3 - 7057).

Do not apply too much sealant and oil channels in the work especially carefully. Items must be collected within 30 minutes after sealant application. After this time, the sealant must be removed and applied anew.

Withdrawal

1 - a bolt, 50 Nm
2 - plate mounting
3 - installation, always replace
4 - a nut, 45 Nm
5 - a bolt, 50 Nm
6 - a reception pipe of the muffler
7 - a nut 90 Nm
8 - a lining, always be replaced
9 - stiffener (On models with the oil pan made of aluminum is built into the pan.)
10 - bolts 50 Nm

11 - installation, always replace
12 - pan
13 - a bolt, 10 Nm
14 - oil drain plug, 40 Nm
15 - installation, always replace
16 - strainer
17 - support bearings
18 - a bolt, 10 Nm
19 - a bolt, 20 Nm
20 - Laying, always replace


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect earth cable from the battery.

This data is erased from the memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of a radio receiver. Before disconnecting the battery should read instructions in Section Removal and installation of the battery.

  1. Raise the vehicle.
  2. Drain engine oil.
  3. Unscrew the front exhaust pipe, lower exhaust system and tie wire. See section Removing and installing the generator.
  4. OT, B6 (SOHC) with 9/89 MY .: Unscrew the stiffener.
  5. Unscrew the bolts and nuts of the oil pan.
  1. Steel tray: Dip tray installed between the mounting bracket and tray screwdriver.

Screwdriver should not be placed between the support bearings and the cylinder block. Also when removing the pan to make sure that they were not damaged by the sealing surface of the pallet and the block of cylinders.


  1. Aluminum pan: Score screwdriver specified location between the tray and the cylinder block.

Screwdriver should not be set to any other place, because otherwise be damaged sealing surfaces of the oil pan and the engine block.

  1. Remove the oil pan.
  2. If present, unscrew the support bearing and remove it.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Carefully loosen the sealing surface of the oil pan, support bearings and cylinder block from the old seal with the help of a triangular knife and a razor blade.
  2. Thoroughly clean the cylinder block, sump and the oil pump. Otherwise seals can be damaged by escaping oil.
  3. Wipe the sealing surfaces on the oil pan, support bearings and cylinder block fat solvent and dry them. The cleaner can be used as an alcohol or acetone.

Do not use cleaners that corrode the surface varnish.


  1. Apply a shaded place sealant based on silicone (eg, DOW CORNING Q3 - 7057).
  1. Apply sealant based on silicone (eg, DOW CORNING Q3 - 7057).
  2. Install the support bearing and tighten with a torque of 20 Nm.
  3. Apply sealant based on silicone (eg, DOW CORNING Q3 - 7057) on the gasket and install the gasket.

Tabs on strips should be facing outward, the ends must be flush clean.

  1. Apply sealant based on silicone (eg, DOW CORNING Q3 -7057).

Steel pan

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Set pan and evenly screw with a force of 10 Nm.
  2. Install a stiffener and tighten bolts to 50Nm.
  1. Aluminum pan: Set pan and evenly tighten the bolts -A- to 10 Nm of torque, the bolts -B- to 50 Nm of torque.
  1. Install the front exhaust pipe.
  2. Lower the vehicle.
  3. Pour the engine oil.
  4. Connect the battery earth cable.
  5. If available, set the clock and set the security code radio.
  6. Perform a test drive, check the oil level and the tightness of the sump may gently tighten the bolts.
