Replacement of the fuel filter / strainer

It does not require special tools. The necessary wearing parts:

- The fuel filter and fuel pre-filter for the corresponding engine.

Fuel filter

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove stopper (74/1) and, accordingly, a hollow bolt (74).

2. Remove the bottom of the fuel filter.

3. Insert the new fuel filter. Screw the stopper and, accordingly, banjo bolt with new O-rings (76) and (76/1).

Strainer Fuel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the bracket (70/3). Remove the fuel line (70/4). Remove the fuel strainer (70/1).

2. Insert the new fuel strainer (70/1) and screw it together with the holder.

3. Push the fuel line (70/4).

4. Start the engine and make it run at a speed of about 1500 rev / min. This will automatically remove the air from the fuel injection system.

A warning

The engine should not stall, as he later starts again only after a relatively lengthy starting attempts.

5. Visually check for leaks fuel filter and prefilter fuel with the engine running.
