Removing, dismantling and installation of the idler arm



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Apply the parking brake, post the front of the vehicle on supports (stands).
  2. Rasshplintuyte, unscrew the nuts of the longitudinal steering rod tip and lateral traction to the idler arm. To remove the drag link from the lever puller use lever-type (DB 065 or HAZET 779).
  3. Remove the self-locking nut on the bottom of the idler arm and remove the washer.
  4. Lift the idler arm, noting the relative position of washers and dustproof caps.
  5. Remove sleeve from the idler arm, using, if necessary, a knockout of a soft metal.
  6. Clean all parts and carry out their fault detection.
  7. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
