Removal and installation of the end cap, replacing crankshaft rear oil seal



Details of the installation of the end cap of the engine 111 series


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the installation of the end cap of the engine 111 series are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the transmission (see chap. Manual box of a gear change or automatically processed transmission).
  3. On models with Manual transmission, remove the clutch assembly (see chap. The transmission line).
  4. Remove flywheel / drive plate (see. Section Removal and installation of a flywheel / drive disc).
  5. Inspect the engine for signs of leaks, if necessary, replace the crankshaft rear oil seal (See below.).
  6. Remove the screws (4 and 5).
  7. Having hooked behind projections indicated by the arrows, separate the end cap (1) from the engine.
  8. Examine the condition of the gland (21), in case of need make its replacement (See below.).
  9. Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the installation of a back epiploon of a cranked shaft of the engine 111 series shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the end cover of the engine (see. Above).
  3. Having hooked a screw-driver, remove the rear oil seal (21).
  4. Press in the new oil seal to the new end cap on the rear side of the latter.
  5. Operating in reverse order of disassembly, install the removed parts.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the installation of the end cap engines series 112 and 113 are shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the transmission (see chap. Automatically processed transmission).
  3. Remove the drive disk (see. Section Removal and installation of a flywheel / drive disc).
  4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the end cap (1), gently lift it in places indicated by the arrows.
  5. Examine the condition of the gland (3), if necessary, replace the cover with stuffing box assembly.
  6. Installation is in the reverse order.
