Adjustable hood

Check the clearance between the bonnet and the body conjugate elements on the perimeter of fit specified in the specification.

1. Open the hood and set it upright.
2. Remove the right and left hooks on the hood, as described in Section Removal and installation of the bonnet.
3. Remove the screws that secure the bonnet hinge.
4. Adjust the gap around the perimeter of the hood fit and tighten the screws to 8 nm.

5. Lower the bonnet to the buffer and check the clearance with respect to the wing. If necessary, adjust the buffer left and right adjustment (1) so that the hood was not skewed.

6. Install the right and left hooks.
7. Close the hood and check the locking mechanism by lifting up the hood of a jerk. If necessary, slightly move the position of the retainer or bonnet.
8. Check the operation of the locking hook. For this release the hood and check the lock on the holder of the castle.
