Removing and installing the luggage compartment striker

1. Open the trunk.

2. Using a plastic wedge, remove the cover (1) of the lining of the trunk lock. Touring: Remove the plug, refer to the appropriate section.

3. Mark the position of the striker by a felt-tip pen.
4. Remove the 2 mounting bolts (2) and remove the retainer.

1. Install the lock striker in accordance with the label and tighten screws by hand.
2. Close the hood and check the position of the clamp. At the edges of the trunk lid and the wings of the body must be the same. If necessary, slightly move the lock so that the trunk was closed properly.
3. Tighten the bolts to 10Nm and install the trim in the luggage compartment trim.
