PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the front seat assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of the assembly of the front seats).
  2. On models 463.246 / 249 console, remove the control module of the emergency call (when operating on the passenger side of the car).
  3. Having hooked a few spots suitable wedge, remove the sill of the front and rear doors (1 and 2).
  4. Disconnect the connector (3) wiring under the front door sill lining.
  5. Remove the three mounting bolts and remove the panel (4) transmission tunnel trim line.
  6. When working on the driver's side of the car, remove the gas pedal assembly (5).
  7. Remove the center console assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of the central console).
  8. Remove the B-pillar trim panel (see. Section Removal and installation of the panels finish touring racks).
  9. Remove the side panel trim (see. Section Removing and installing trim panels).
  10. Remove the front panel of the carpet (6) flooring.
  11. Remove the carpet cover (7) covering the tunnel transmission line.
  12. Remove the central panel of the carpet (8), the left side of which is fitted on the two studs of the support bracket the parking brake lever (arrow).
  13. Installation is in the reverse order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the rear seat (see. Section Removal and installation of rear seat assembly).
  2. On models corresponding complete set (code E66), equipped with audio system Harman / Kardon remove the woofer.
  3. Remove the side finishing panel (see. Section Removing and installing trim panels).
  4. Remove the cover to access the battery compartment.
  5. Remove the retaining clip (1).
  6. Remove the panel (2) carpet floor.
  7. Remove the fixing lugs (2).
  8. Remove the carpet panel wheel arch (4).

On models corresponding complete set (code ER5) pre remove the left wheel arch plastic frame CD-changer (5).

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to lubricate the underside of the panels (2 and 4) in the special points of the fresh glue.
  2. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
