Removing and installing front seat assemblies

| - Remove the stop (6) of the regulator seat.
- Slide the seat assembly (1) forward and remove the rear screws (5) attaching the frame.
- Slide the seat assembly (1) back.
- Release the clips (arrows) and remove the cover (A) of the jack compartment (passenger's seat only).
- Remove the jack, then remove the screws (C) and remove the mounting bracket (B) jacking (only the passenger seat).
- Remove the front bolts (2) securing the seat frame.
- On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the fire extinguisher (only the driver's seat).
- Remove the screws (3) securing the mounting bracket fire extinguisher (only the driver's seat).
- Tilt the seat forward and disunite a socket (x55 / x55 or 15/16) of wiring.
- On models corresponding complete set (code SM7 and SM / 8) Disconnect the pneumatic line (4) multi-loop adjustment.
- Remove the front seat assembly (1).
- Installation is in the reverse order - the installation stops (6), leave at least two teeth of the adjusting rail.
- On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
- Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor), and make sure of serviceability of functioning of the electric seats.

| - Slide the seat assembly (1) in the rearmost position and remove the stopper (7) of the regulator.
- Slide the seat assembly forward.
- Remove the decorative cap (2) and remove the anchor bolt (3) a seat belt.
- Remove the rear bolts (4) securing the frame, and then slide the seat (1) back and remove the front screws (5).
- On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
- Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors drive (N32 / 1 or N32 / 2) and (on models appropriate equipment, - code H10) heating (x55 / x55 or 3/4) of the seat.
- On models corresponding complete set (code SM7 and SM / 8) Disconnect the pneumatic jack (6) multi-loop adjustment.
- Remove the front seat assembly (1).
- Installation is in the reverse order - the installation stops (6), leave at least two teeth of the adjusting rail.
- On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
