Identifikatsonnye vehicle number
Improvement of products is a continuous process of any line production. At the same time, except in cases of major design changes coming down the assembly line model, the results of modifications to the owner's manual are not covered. However, the manufacturer number lists are made of parts manufactured in view of what special value at purchase of the last gets the information encoded in the vehicle identification number. When placing the required spare part, try to give the seller the fullest possible information about your car. Be sure to tell the name of the model, year and number of the body and the power unit.
The vehicle identification number (VIN)
 | This is extremely important in its significance, the number is stamped on a metal plate (nameplate), attached to the dashboard under the windshield on the driver's side of the car. VIN is also entered in the PTS and the log of the vehicle. The code number is encrypted information about the date and place of manufacture of the car, year of the model and type of vehicle. |
The most important components of VIN codes are a series of engine and model year.
The code of the engine is represented standing on the fourth position to the left of the hotel the letter:
H = VG30DE SOHC V6 (1993 ÷ 1994)
E = VE30DE DOHC V6 (1993 ÷ 1994)
C = VQ30DE DOHC V6 (from 1995)
Year encrypted in the letters, which occupies the tenth position VIN:
P = 1993
R = 1994
S = 1995
T = 1996
Information nameplate in the engine compartment of the car
 | Metal nameplate information on the engine, transmission, paint and type of vehicle body riveted to the bulkhead of the engine compartment of the vehicle. Typically nameplate attached to the left side of the bulkhead, but also not excluded probability placing it in the center.

Chassis identification number
 | Chassis identification number stamped directly on the engine compartment bulkhead, in its central part. Room contains information about the purpose of the model, the modifications made and transmission. |
Certification label
 | The certification label affixed to the end of the driver's door of the car, and contains information about the vehicle, as the manufacturer's name, month and year, the nominal gross weight (GVWR), the maximum allowable axle loads and the text of the certification of the agreement. |
The identification numbers of the power unit
 | The identification number is stamped on the left side of the engine block near the transmission. |
Engine number
 | The identification number of the engine stands out on the left side of the engine block near the transmission. |
Number transmission
| | Number transmission stands out on top of the dome of the transmission. On some models, the number can also be applied to the nameplate affixed to the front wall of the transmission housing. |
Information label of systems of decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases (VECI)
VECI label usually attached to the underside of the hood, or pasted on top of the radiator support beam (see chap. 6). The label includes information on used car systems reduce emissions, as well as specific data on engine tuning.
