Removing and installing cylinder head cover

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove the air intake hose and air cleaner assembly covers (see. Section Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path).
Remove the rack right engine support (see. Section Removal and installation of the power unit).

Jacking engine when it is not necessary.

Remove the ignition coil (see. Section Replacement of spark plugs) and mounting bracket of the wiring.
Disconnect the PCV hose and disconnect the wiring connector e / m phases of the control valve of the intake valves.
If necessary, remove the PCV valve and check e / m phases of the control valve of the intake valves.

Treat e / m Lapa carefully disassemble it.

Remove the cover bolts of the cylinder head in the reverse order specified in the illustration, and remove the cover.

Position Remove the bolt so that then set them in place.

Carefully, trying not to damage the cylinder head cover, remove the seal with a screwdriver.

Install the new O-ring is press-fitted into the cover of using a tube with an outer diameter of 97 mm and an inner diameter of 83 to 88 mm.

Place the gasket (1) on the upper surface of the upper support ?��1 camshafts align the centering pins (2) with the holes in the gasket in accordance with the shape of the camshaft bearings. Place the gasket on the installation of the cylinder head cover gasket.

Tighten bolts the cylinder head cover in the sequence shown in the illustration. Bolts of different lengths: ?��1 and ?��2 - 45 mm, and the rest - 20 mm.

Install e / m phases of the control valve of the intake valves, making sure that its O-ring and mating surfaces are clean to him.
Install the PCV valve control and other components acting in film.
