Removing and installing, disassembling and assembling the cylinder head

Refitting

Mounting the cylinder head

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system (see. Section Dropping the pressure in the supply).
  2. Drain the cooling system (see. Section Replacement of a cooling liquid).
  3. Remove the following components:
  1. Remove the cylinder head bolts in the reverse order specified in the illustration.
  1. Remove the cylinder head gasket.
  1. Measure the diameter of the thread cylinder head bolts in the specified locations in the illustration, and then subtract from the larger value is less. If the result is greater than 0.12 mm, replace the bolt.

If the minimum diameter d2 is not minimum, instead of using the minimum diameter d2.

  1. Evenly apply a sealant to the places indicated in the illustration and insert a new cylinder head gasket.
  1. Install the cylinder head and tighten bolts of its fastening in the sequence shown in the illustration and in the order specified in the Specifications.

Pre-lubricate the threads and bottom edges of the bolt heads motor oil. Give bolts When the second stage unscrew them in reverse order. Supporting bolts (?? 11-13) should be tightened only after the final tightening of the main bolts.

  1. Further installation is performed in the reverse order of dismantle of components.

Disassembly and assembly

Since disassembly and reassembly of the cylinder head are typical procedures for all vehicles are only an illustration for explaining the assembly of the cylinder head, and some features.

Assemble the cylinder head

1 - Spark Plug
2 - Rusk valve
3/5 - Upper / Lower valve spring plate
4 - valve spring
6 - stem seal

7 - Guides
8 - Cylinder head
9/12 - The seat of the intake / exhaust valve
10/11 - The inlet / exhaust valve
13 - Sleeve spark plugs

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. When installing the valve stem seals, observe the dimensions shown in the illustration.
  1. When installing the hub of the spark plug, clean the mating surfaces of the old sealant and apply sealant to the area indicated in the illustration. Height (H) protruding sleeve should be 41 ÷ 42 mm.
  1. After dismantling the cylinder head, check its parameters and valve mechanisms, guided by the Specifications. If necessary, replace defective seats and valve guides, valves themselves or the cylinder head assembly with the upper camshaft bearings. Deformed cylinder head bore can not be.
