Fuel pump




A warning

See Precautions Section 6.3.1 before proceeding.


Withdrawal

The pump is removed along with the fuel level sensor.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the sensor through the instructions in section 6.3.1.9.
2. If necessary, remove the filter element from the base of the fuel pump, then release the retaining clips and remove the plastic covers from the fuel pump.
3. Clean the fuel filter in a solution with a high flash point.
4. Inspect the filter for signs of clogging or cracks, and replace it if necessary.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If necessary, install the plastic covers on the pump and set the filter.
2. Make sure the covers are securely installed on the pump, then set the fuel gauge on the pump and install it, the instructions given in section 6.3.1.9.
