Exhaust system check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the exhaust system from the engine to the end section. Checks are carried out on the cold engine, after at least 1 hour after the trip. To test the best to lift the engine to ensure unimpeded access to all parts of the system.
2. In the absence of lift, lift the car and establish on supports.
3. Check on the exhaust pipes and joints signs of leakage of exhaust gases, strong corrosion and mechanical damage. Make sure of reliability of fastening and the integrity of all arms and legs tailpipes. Places Exhaust leaks can usually be detected by the black fly.
4. Strong knocks from the exhaust system are usually caused by insecure exhaust pipes on the brackets and supports. Shake the pipe with silencers. If pipes and silencers come in contact with the details of the suspension or underbody, replace fasteners or, if possible, disconnect the pipe and turn them against each other to provide a sufficient distance from the other parts.
