Replacement of the fuel filter




A warning

When changing the filter observe fire safety rules.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The fuel filter is mounted on the partition wall of the engine compartment on the left side. Before removal note the orientation of the filter.
2. Remove the filter from the spring clamps and disconnect the hoses from the filter. On vehicles with injector engines disconnect the hoses from the filter after the events of the decompression of the fuel system (see. Subsection 6.2.7).
3. The filter must be disposed of.
4. Connect the hose to the new filter, set them in the holders. The arrow on the filter housing (if any) must point in the direction of the hose, the supply fuel to the engine.
5. Insert the filter in the bracket.
6. Start the engine, check for fuel leakage.
