Check of covers of semiaxes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and establish on supports.
2. Turn the steering wheel all the way and slowly rotate.
3. Check the rubber boot outer CV joint, which spread the folds of the cover. Check for cracks, tears and signs of aging of rubber, which can cause leaching of grease and dirt and water from entering the joint. Also check the condition are tight and snap rings.
4. Repeat the same procedure for the inner CV joint. If you notice any damage or signs of wear covers must be replaced (see. Subsection 10.4).
5. Check the condition of themselves at the same time constant velocity joints, which hold the axle shaft, try to turn the wheel.
6. Then, try to rotate the axle shaft, holding the internal hinge. Any significant gap indicates wear of the splines of the hinge, the splines on the half-line or loosening the nut axis.
