| 1. Remove the screws and bolt. |
| 2. Cnimite pump cover from the back of the front cover. |
| |
3. Remove the gear oil pump (pictured left - driven gear, pictured right - Leading). |
| 4. Remove the screw, remove the washer, the spring and the piston pressure reducing valve, paying attention to the orientation of the piston. |
5. Inspect the gear pump, the piston pressure reducing valve, check for signs of wear and tear on these items. |
| 6. Install the gears in the front cover and check for gaps between the driven gear and the pump casing. |
| 7. Check the gaps between the teeth of the driven and driving gears and the crescent insert. |
| 8. Check the axial play of the driven and driving gears. |
9. If you have the necessary tools, determine the gap between the driven gear and the pump housing, measure the diameter. |
10. Where there is evidence of damage, and if any of the measured backlash exceeds norm replace the front cover. |
11. Upon detection of excessive wear of gears and check the status of the bypass valve, which remove the oil filter. Inspect the valve ball, check for signs of wear and freedom of movement. In the event of jamming, replace the valve, which press out the valve from the cylinder and press in the new valve. Replace the oil filter. |
12. Lubricate gear oil pump fresh oil for the engine and set the cap. Driven gear should be turned outwards shoulder. |
13. Install the pump cover, tighten with the specified torque of bolts and screws. |
14. Gather the reducing valve. |
