The crankshaft pulley



Removing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the auxiliary drive belt.
2. If necessary, set the piston of cylinder 1 at TDC compression stroke.
3. To exclude a turn when loosening the crankshaft pulley bolt to turn a higher gear and ask the assistant to the failure to press the brake pedal. If the bolt turns on the removed engine, lock the flywheel device (see Fig. Subsection 3.1.1.15).
4. Remove the bolt and the pulley from the crankshaft. If the key of the pulley has a loose fit, remove the key and keep it together with the pulley.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the key (if removed).
2. Align the pulley groove with the key, put the pulley on the crankshaft and tighten the bolt with a washer.
3. Lock the crankshaft from turning and tighten the bolt to the specified torque.
4. Put belts and adjust the tension.
