Check and, if necessary, to restore the idle speed. Check and, if necessary, to restore the CO content in the exhaust gases.

Adjust the valve to increase idle speed

On vehicles equipped with automatic transmission (release till December, 1984) or the air conditioner, the actuator 4 (see. Fig. Pneumatic throttle first chamber) with four connections for connecting the vacuum hose and valve 6 to increase idle speed. When the large number of energy consumers (headlights, radio, heating tailgate window glass and so on. D.) And changing modes of movement or turn on the air conditioner as a result of a large load is reduced idling speed. When this valve 6 is activated, giving an additional amount of fuel, which increases the idle speed to the nominal value. The valve is controlled increase if the idle speed under load is too low or if the engine stops.

Regulation to make a warm engine to adjust the clearance in the mechanism of the valve is installed and the moment of ignition at full choke in the following order:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect the tachometer and the control analyzer.
2. Tighten the hand brake, under the front wheels to set stops (such as wooden wedges).
3. Start the engine. Turn the heater fan on high, the high beam headlights, heated glass tailgate window.
