Check the vacuum-proof-reader of the distributor of ignition



To accurately test the vacuum-proof-reader requires a vacuum pump with a pressure gauge. However, to check whether the vacuum-proof-reader, you can use the strobe:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect to the engine a stroboscope.
2. Start the engine.
3. To direct stroboscope lamp on adjusting labels (see. P. 4 sub-section 12.13.1.6).
4. Increase engine speed to 3000 min -1. Remove the vacuum hose from the equalizer 19 (see. Fig. The ignition distributor), and the mark on the crankshaft pulley and flywheel must be displaced. Connect the hose to the vacuum-proof-reader, the label dolzhsna return to the starting position. If the label does not move, then the vacuum-proof-reader is faulty and must be replaced or leaking vacuum hose.
