Dismantling the cylinder head



The camshaft and valves

1 - Back Cover Timing;

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the fuel pump with the gasket.
2. Remove the bolt 17 (see. Fig. Camshaft and valves).
3. Remove the gear 14, removed from the key groove in the camshaft 13.
4. Loosen the screws 20 (see. Fig. The ignition distributor) and remove the ignition distributor. Remove the washer 13, spring 14 and ferrule 15.
5. Loosen the screws 18 and remove the plate 16 and the gasket 17.
6. Maximum Release screws 9 (see. Fig. Camshaft and valves) and remove them from the spring 11 and the lever 10, the pre-marking them to install the assembly into place.
7. Remove the oil line.
8. carefully not to damage the neck and the jaws, pull camshaft towards fixing the ignition distributor.
9. If it is necessary to remove the stuffing box 3 (see. Fig. Cylinder head).
10. The special adaptation compress the spring valve 6 (see. Fig. Camshaft and valves) 8 and remove the crumbs.
11. By reducing pressure on the lever device, release the valve spring. Remove the tool. 7 Remove the plate and remove the spring 6.
12. Remove the valve stem cap 5 and thrust washer 4, placing pre-anything in the combustion chamber to prevent loss of the valve.
13. Remove the valve from the combustion chamber and mark it to install the assembly in the same place. Likewise removed and the remaining valves.

Dismantling the cylinder head engines MN and 2G (with hydraulic valve lifters)

Non bearing caps Engine MH and 2G

A - the projection bearing cap directed toward the inlet pipe;

B - bearing number stamped on the lid

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the fuel pump gasket.
2. Remove the ignition distributor and camshaft gear as described in the preceding paragraph.
3. Loosen the nuts and remove covers number 5, 1 and 3, the camshaft bearings.
4. Loosen and evenly on the diagonal, loosen the nut covers number 2 and 4 bearings. Remove the cover.
5. Remove the camshaft and to remove the gland.
6. Remove hydropushers valves, preliminary having marked them to install the assembly into place.
