Flywheel

In a diesel engine, unlike a gasoline, a flywheel is attached to the pressure plate, which in turn is attached to the crankshaft.

Refitting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Block the flywheel by inserting a suitable metal lever to the flywheel teeth or using a special device.
2. Evenly unscrew bolts of a flywheel on 1-2 turns.
3. Remove the flywheel bolts.
4. Remove the flywheel with the clutch plate.
5. Inspect the flywheel. If it is cracked, deep scratches, signs of wear on the work surface or damaged tooth crown, the flywheel must be replaced. Check tightness dowel pins in the flywheel. If the pins are loosely seated, replace them.
6. Set the handwheel in the reverse order. Flywheel bolts tighten crosswise and tighten to 20 Nm (2.0 kgf-m).
7. Install clutch plate cm. 6-9 subsection 4.3.
8. On vehicles with automatic transmission disk drive is removed and installed as well as on vehicles with engine capacity of 1.1 liters and 1.3 (see. Subsection 2.2.1.8).
