The connecting rod-piston group

Installation of the piston cooling sprayer

The connecting rod-piston group is removed and dismantled as well as in engines working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l (see. Subsection 2.2.1.12).

Inspection, testing and repairs are the same as at engines in working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l (see. Subsection 2.2.1.12).

Different data are shown below.

Limiting lateral clearance between the rings and grooves on the piston (see. Fig. Measurement backlash piston ring) for compression rings is 0.20 mm, for maslosemnyh - 0.15 mm.

The gap in the lock of piston rings was measured at a distance of 20 mm from the base of the cylinder. The supercharged diesel engines before the measurement gap is necessary to remove the nebulizer shown in Fig. Installing piston cooling sprayer.

The gap in the lock compression ring is 0.3-0.5 mm oil scraper - 0.25-0.4 mm. Maximum permissible gap is 1.0 mm.

Maximum permissible backlash between the piston and the cylinder of 0.07 mm.

Supercharged diesel engine pistons have on one side a recess in the skirt that prevents the piston in the dispenser pass when the piston is at BDC.

In engines with hydropushers valve on the pistons of 2nd and 3rd cylinders chamfer at an angle of 15 ?.

Assemble the connecting rod and piston group as well as in engines working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l (see. Subsection 2.2.1.12), taking into account the following:

1. The arrow on the piston crown (see. Fig. Mark on the head of the piston and connecting rod on the tides and the connecting rod cap) should be directed to the camshaft drive, and tides on the connecting rod and connecting rod cap must be on the part of the intermediate shaft.

2. The supercharged engine seizure in the piston skirt must be placed by the piston cooling sprayer.

3. In engines with hydropushers valve pistons of 2nd and 3rd cylinders should have a chamfer at an angle of 15 ?.

4. Replace the connecting rod bolts and nuts.

5. Tightening torque bolts spray piston cooling 10 Nm (1.0 kgf ? m)

Tightening torque rod bolt:

- M9h1h15 threaded bolt - 50 Nm (5.0 kgf-m);
- Threaded bolt M8h1h25 (elastic bolt):
- Stage 1 - 30 N ? m (3.0 kgf ? m);
- Stage 2 - tighten further on a half-turn (180 ?).
