Removal and installation of the cylinder head

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the bolt adjusting lath of the generator to a block head.
2. Remove the alternator drive belt and the top cover Timing (see. Subsection 2.2.2.1).
3. Remove the cylinder head cover.
4. Remove the bolt securing the rear cover of a drive of a camshaft to the cylinder head.
5. Remove the inlet pipe and the exhaust manifold.
6. Rotate the crankshaft so that the piston of the first cylinder is in TDC (see. Subsection 2.2.2.1).
7. Loosen the belt tension and remove the camshaft drive belt from the camshaft gear (see. Subsection 2.2.2.1).
A warning

After the belt has been removed camshaft drive, you can not rotate the crankshaft, camshaft and intermediate shaft.


8. Loosen the bolts of the cylinder head. Turn away bolts evenly in the reverse order shown in Fig. Tightening bolts of the cylinder head).
9. Remove the cylinder head and head gasket. If the head unit "become attached" to the unit, you can not score between the head and block a screwdriver or any other tool, as this may damage the surface of the head. We need a little knock with a hammer through a wooden lining on the head unit.
After the inspection and replacement of damaged and worn parts installation head unit in the reverse order. Thus it is necessary to replace the head gasket and the cylinder head cover. Head gasket put on the surface of the cylinder up the inscription ?�OBEN-TOP?�. Tighten the cylinder head in the order shown in Fig. Tightening bolts cylinder head), in three stages:
- Stage 1 - the moment 40 Nm (4.0 kgf-m);
- Stage 2 - 60 N ?� m (6.0 kgf ?� m);
- Stage 3 - tighten further on a half-turn (180 ?�).

The engine is mounted on the vehicle

If necessary, lapping or valve replacement, cleaning soot, replace the cylinder head gasket and so on. D. Remove the cylinder head can, without removing the engine from the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from "the minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. Drain the engine cooling system (see. Subsection 2.4.1).
3. Disconnect water hoses from cylinder head.
4. Remove the air filter on cars equipped with carburetor.
5. Disconnect the accelerator cable.
6. Disconnect the wires from the oil pressure gauge and coolant temperature.
7. Remove the bolt fastening of an adjusting lath of the generator to a block head. Remove alternator drive belt.
8. Remove the high voltage wires and unscrew candles.
9. Disconnect the electrical wires from the carburettor.
10. Disconnect the fuel line from the carburetor.
11. Remove the spring clips and remove from the exhaust manifold exhaust front pipe.
12. Disconnect the crankcase breather hose.
13. Then the sequence is the same as when the engine has been removed from the vehicle
