PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the riveted joints in the pressure plate. The pressure plate is damaged or missing rivets must be replaced.
2. Check the pressure plate for cracks, metal penetration and wear surfaces. Using a steel ruler and the blade of the probe, check the flatness of the working surface of a press disk. Nonflatness press disk should not exceed 0.2 mm.
3. Check the condition of the friction surface of the flywheel for cracks, metal penetration and surface wear.
4. Check the condition of the friction linings and the clutch disc in the presence of traces of oil on them and mechanical damage, replace the clutch disc.
5. Faulty release bearing can be determined without removing it from the car, which requires the engine is running, press the clutch pedal. If the clutch pedal is pressed, an additional noise, means the release bearing is defective and should be replaced.
