A warning

Operations to remove the engine 1,4 / 1,6-I are the same as for the engine 1,8 / 1,9 / 2,3-I. This section describes only the operations relating to the engine 1,4 / 1,6-I.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Support for the engine is carried out by crane eyelets attached to the cylinder head and cylinder block.
2. Using a screw-driver edge as the lever, remove the operational rod (1) with a guide (2), then remove the lock ring (3) and cantilever arm (4) by pulling it up. Turning clockwise rod (5) with vibration damper, remove it from the cantilever arm. By moving the rod up with vibration damper, remove it from the support (6).
3. Using a screwdriver blade, disconnect the long pull the gear lever from the guide (arrow). Remove the shift knob (1) from the gearbox. Unscrew the bolts (2) and remove the switching bracket (3) with the connecting rods and shifter.
4. Remove the hose of the clutch slave cylinder from clips.
5. Remove the two screws securing the clutch slave cylinder. Remove the clutch slave cylinder and, without disconnecting from it a hose, attach to the body.
