1. Set the gear lever to the neutral position and tighten the handbrake lever. |
2. Disconnect and lift the protective cover of the lever of a manual brake. |
| 3. Loosen the clamp bolt (arrow) on the traction gear. |
4. Connecting rod after loosening the clamp must move easily. |
| 5. Loosen the screws (1 and 2), and then all the way to the lower right side of the base (arrow). Tighten the bolt (1) to torque. |
| 6. Move the shift lever to the on position 5th gear and set the adjust gauge VW-3421. |
7. Move the shift lever to the on position 3rd-4th gear. |
8. Move the shift operational thrust to idle position and tighten the bolt of the clamping bracket 25 Nm. |
9. Remove adjusting gauge. |
10. Turn on the reverse. |
11. Loosen the screw (1) and press the left side of the base of the gear lever down until it stops (see. Fig. At p. 5). Tighten the screws (1 and 2) to 25 Nm. |
12. Check the smoothness of switching gears, especially the rear of the transmission. |
| 13. If the gearshift does not work well, make more accurate adjustment. Set the gearshift lever to the start position of 1st transfer and check clearance (a), which should be 2 mm. Otherwise, loosen the screws (1 and 2 cm. Fig. At p. 5) and install the required clearance. Tighten bolts to 25 Nm. |
