Check intake air heating device



If the engine is cold starts with difficulty, perhaps the device is heating the intake air. The work of this unit can be checked as follows:
- Remove the pipe feeding the heated air;

- Check the position of the progress and freedom of the regulating flap in the air filter housing (see. Fig. 117). At temperatures over 22 ?� flap should cover the warm air duct (pos. 1). At a temperature of -20 to + 22 ?� C flap to be opened by not more than 2/3 (pos. 2).
You can check and thermocouple work, but it requires a special refrigerant spray. If you put spray on the thermocouple, the regulating valve should open access to warm air;
- The work of a damper must be checked. To do this, pull the short rubber tube to the nozzle of a vacuum hose attachment and podsasyvaya air from the hose, check whether the butterfly valve;
- Re-establish the vacuum hose, securing the safety clip;
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the thermostat the injector. Regulating throttle after about 20 seconds should regain its original position.
