Dismantling the cylinder head

Dismantling the cylinder head spend in the following order:
- Unscrew all the parts located on the cylinder head;
- Hold the cylinder head with the mounting screw screwed into the exhaust manifold clamp in a vice;

Details of the camshaft
Fig. 108. Details of the camshaft 1 - bearing cover number 5; 2 - bearing cover number 4; 3 - bearing cover number 3; 4 - a cover of the bearing number 2; 5 - nut 20 Nm; 6 - bearing cover number 1; 7 - camshaft; 8 - Woodruff; 9 - a bolt with a washer 80 Nm; 10 - a cogwheel of a camshaft

- Loosen the nut bearing cap number 5, 1 and 3 (Fig. 108) every two turns evenly and crosswise, as long as both are not unscrewed the lid, remove the lid;

Note
The cover can be ?1 sealing ring for cylinder head cover.

- In a similar manner, remove the bearing cap number 2 and 4;
- Remove the camshaft bearings of cylinder head;

Marking the hydraulic tappets
Fig. 109. Marking of hydraulic pushers

- Apply the risk-scratches on the inside of the tappets, ie the first cam - a risk a second pusher - two, etc. (Fig. 109), since they can not be confused (the count is conducted from the valve timing) and remove the tappets. Do not stack pushers, and put down the contact plane;

Note
Pushers are equipped with hydraulic elements regulating valve clearance, and therefore they should be treated with caution.

Removing the valve with the help of a stripper 2034
Fig. 110. Removing the valves by means of a stripper 2034

Details of the mechanism of the valve
Fig. 111. Details of the mechanism of the valve 1 - a semi-circular sealing ring; 2 - hydraulic pusher; 3 - half of the valve stem (biscuits); 4 - the top plate of the valve spring of the valve; 5 - outer and inner valve springs; 6 - stem seal; 7 - the bottom plate of the valve spring; 8 - the directing plug of the valve; 9 - cylinder head; 10 - camshaft oil seal; 11 - valve; a - the height of the cylinder head

- A standard tool for installing and removing the valve tool is at number 2034 (Fig. 110). It is attached to the cylinder head. Release valve 11 (Fig. 111) from the halves of the valve stem (biscuits) 3, compressing the spring device 5 in 2034;
- Relief valves can be used, and a piece of pipe that fits over the upper spring plate. Under the valve plate with the other hand it is necessary to enclose something to fix it. Briefly hit a hammer on the pipe so that the left half of the valve stem. They will remain inside the pipe. But do not tear off the pipe from the spring plate, so as not to lose half of the valve stem;
- Remove the top plate 4 (see. Fig. 111) with 5 springs, rotate the cylinder head 9 and remove the underside of the valve 11;
- Remove the valve stem cap 6 to the guide sleeve 8;

Note
Valve stem seals are always replaced by new ones.

Removal of the bottom plate of the valve springs using special tongs 3047
Fig. 112. Removal of the bottom plate of the valve springs using special tongs 3047

- With a special tool 3047 (Fig. 112) or pliers, remove the bottom plate 7 of the spring out of the hole.
