 | - Check the belt tension, having pressed on it effort 98 N (10 kg) in a place located on identical removal from pulleys and measure a belt deflection. Deflection of a belt: 6-9 mm.

 | - If the belt tension is not correct, adjust it as follows.
1) Loosen the tension adjusting screw drive belt power steering pump.
|
 | 2) mount, inserted between the bracket and the pump, adjust the belt tension so the belt deflection is within acceptable limits.
|
3) Tighten the adjustment belt drive power steering pump.
4) Check the belt tension and, if necessary, repeat the adjustment.
 | Rotate the crankshaft of the engine and re-check the belt tension. |
