Power steering pump



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the pressure hose from the pump.
  1. Remove the suction filter from the suction connector and drain the liquid in the container.
  1. Loosen the bolts and remove the pump drive belt.
  1. Remove the bolt adjustment belt.
  1. Remove the drive belt from the pulley power steering pump.
  1. Remove the bolts of the pump and adjust the belt tension bolt.
  1. Remove the power steering pump.

Be careful, because the pump will leak fluid.

  1. Remove an arm of the power steering pump.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the pump suction pipe and the O-ring.
  1. Remove the four screws and remove the back cover with gasket and studs.
  2. Remove the stator ring.
  3. Remove the rotor and blades.
  4. Remove the front side plate.
  5. Remove the inner and outer sealing ring.
  6. Remove the spring.

When assembling it is necessary to use a new gasket and O-ring.

  1. Secure the pulley in a vice, unscrew the nut of the pulley and remove the spring washer.
  1. Remove the pulley and the woodruff key.
  1. Using special pliers, remove the retaining ring and the spacer.
  1. Squeeze the shaft of the pulley bearing. If necessary, use a nylon hammer.
  1. Remove the O-ring from the pump housing.

When assembling the need to use a new sealing ring.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the oil pump and remove the valve and the spring.
  2. Remove the O-ring connector.

Do not disassemble check valve.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measure the length of the spring of the check valve in a free state. The length of the spring in a free condition of 36.5 mm.
  2. Make sure that the control valve is not bent.
  3. Check the shaft for wear and damage.
  4. Check the drive belt for wear and loss of properties.
  5. Check the grooves of the rotor and blades for wear.
  6. Check the contact surface of the stator ring and the blades for wear.
  7. Check the blade for damage.
  8. Check for wear side plate and the contact surface of the shaft and the pump cover.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the spring check valve and a connector valve in the pump housing.
  1. The special tool 09222-32100 install oil seal in the pump housing.
  1. Gently insert the shaft assembly and install the spacer and the retaining ring.
  1. Install pump pulley with the woodruff key.
  1. Install the spring and the inner sealing ring.
  1. Install the outer O-ring in the side plate and set the front side plate.
  1. Insert the pins into the recesses of the front housing, then install the cam ring, paying attention to the direction of installation.
  1. Set the rotor so that the marks on the rotor located on the side opposite the front of the housing.
  1. Set the blade rounded out parts.
  1. Place the gasket and pump cover.
  2. Install the suction pipe and the O-ring.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Place the pump on the bracket, put the belt on the pulleys and tighten the belt tension adjustment bolt. Torque: 3.5-10 N ??? m.
  1. Install the suction filter.
  2. Connect to the pump pressure hose.

Install the pressure hose so that it is not twisted and does not come into contact with any other parts.

  1. Pour the liquid. Recommended fluid: PSF-3.
  2. Bleed the hydraulic power steering.
  3. Check the pressure created by the pump.
