PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the pressure hose from the power steering pump. Between pressure hose disconnected and the pump connect the special measuring tool, as shown in the figure.
  2. Bleed the hydraulic power-assisted steering, and then start up the engine and turn the steering wheel several times so that the liquid temperature rose to 50 ? C.
  3. Increase the engine speed to 1000 min -1.
  4. Close the valve of the special tool and measure the pressure. The fluid pressure generated by the power steering pump: 1209-1280 psi.

Do not hold the valve closed special tools for more than 10 seconds.

  1. Remove the special tools, and connect the discharge hose to the pump, tighten the hose nut torque. Torque: 55-65 N ??? m.
