Liquid replacement in a hydraulic drive power steering



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lift the front of the car and fix on supports.
  2. Disconnect the return hose from the tank.
  3. Connect an additional hose to the return hose, and drain the fluid into a suitable container.
  4. Disconnect the high-voltage wire from the ignition coil. Periodically turn the starter and at the same time some times turn a steering wheel from lock to lock to drain all liquid from the hydraulic drive power steering.
  5. Connect to the reservoir return hose and secure it with a clamp.
  6. Pour the liquid into the tank recommended. Type of fluid power assisted steering: PSF-3. The volume of liquid: 0.75-0.8 l.
  7. Start the engine. Check for fluid leaks from the hose and stop the engine.
  8. Pour the liquid into the tank to the base of the oil filter.
  9. Bleed the hydraulic power steering.
