Checking the steering wheel return to its original position

Check that the steering wheel is returned to its original position.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The force that must be applied to the steering wheel and return to the original position should be the same as for the moderate passage turns and reversals.
  1. When the steering wheel is rotated 90 ? and arrested in this position for a few seconds, while the vehicle is moving at a speed of 35 km / h, after releasing the steering wheel must return to within 20 ? from the neutral position.

If the steering wheel is turned quickly, the first time the force needed for turning can be increased. This is normal, especially on when the engine is idling, as pump performance somewhat reduced.
