Adjusting reduced pressure

Adjustment without tester
Remove items until the oil filter in a manner similar to that in the process of adjusting the pressure in the main line. The control valve or remove.
Turn the adjusting screw on the bottom of the control valve and adjust the negative pressure so that it corresponds to the nominal value. When the adjustment screw clockwise to lower the pressure decreases, turning the adjusting screw counter-clockwise - increases.

NOTE
When adjusting the reduced pressure should reach the mean value (425 kPa) range of nominal values.
Standard value: 420 ? 20 kPa.

Changing the oil pressure at each turn of the adjusting screw: 22kPa.
Install the oil filter and oil sump in the manner similar to that in the procedure of adjusting the pressure in the main line.
Test the pressure in the hydraulic control lever. If necessary, repeat the adjustment pressure.

Adjust using the tester
With mode ACTUATOR TEST (test actuators) tester force the 50% fill factor of the cycle (50% duty) of the electromagnetic pressure control valve (PCSV) and measure the pressure applied to the brake forced downshift at this time.
If the pressure applied to the brake forced downshift (kickdown brake pressure), does not correspond to the nominal values range, adjust the pressure with the adjusting screw.
Nominal value:
320 ? 30 kPa.
Changing the oil pressure at each turn of the adjusting screw 30 kPa.
Make sure that after the adjustment of the value of the reduced pressure (reducing presure) corresponds to the range of 370-490 kPa.

ATTENTION
The adjustment should be carried out at an oil temperature (ATF) automatic transmission at 70-80 ? C. If the adjustment is made at too high an oil temperature (ATF) in the automatic transmission, the pressure in the main line will fall when the engine is at idle, and as a result perform the correct adjustment will be impossible.

Replacing shaft seals wheel drive
Disconnect the drive shaft from the transmission.

Use a flathead screwdriver, remove the gland (Fig. 3.81).

Pressing gland

With a special tool (mandrel 09431-21200) easy blows install a new oil seal in the gearbox (Fig. 3.82).
Apply oil to the automatic transmission (ATF) on the working seal lip.

Replacement of a cable drive speedometer

The adapter cable of the speedometer
Fig. 3.83. The adapter cable of the speedometer

Install the adapter in the instrument cluster and attach to it a new speedometer drive cable (Fig. 3.83).
Install the rubber grommet so that the cable sleeve and the projecting part were horizontal.

ATTENTION
Cable drive the speedometer should be designed to match the cable bend radius of 150 mm or more.

Install the speedometer cable

Transmission is necessary to insert the tip of a cable of the speedometer in the gearbox and tighten the nut (Fig. 3.84).

ATTENTION
If the speedometer cable is not connected properly or is unreliable, then the speedometer will be incorrect and abnormal noise occurs. Make sure to connect the cable of a drive of a speedometer.
