Pressure regulator

Do not remove the pressure regulator. The pressure regulator regulates the pressure in the drive rear brakes depending on the load on the rear axle. With increasing load, it provides passage of the brake fluid to the wheel cylinders of back brakes, causing increased pressure in their contour and improves the efficiency of the rear brakes.

Checking the pressure limitation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Connect the two pressure gauges, one - the input side and one - on the output side of the pressure regulator.

After connecting the pressure gauge bleed the brake system.

2. Press the brake pedal and measure the input and output pressure. If the pressures are within the permissible amplitude, as shown in the figure, the pressure regulator is not defective.

3. Remove the gauges and connect the brake lines in the initial position and remove the air from the brake system.

The graph shows the characteristics of the pressure regulator, depending on the applied force.
