Power steering pump

1 - pump drive belt;

Power steering pump

1 - suction pipe;
2 - O-ring;
3 - pressure sensor;
4 - O-ring;
5 - a stopper;

7 - a control valve;
8 - a spring;
9 - adjusting the bracket;
10 - the pump casing (back);

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the pressure sensor.
2. Disconnect the suction hose.
3. Disconnect the pressure hose.
4. Loosen the mounting bolt. Loosen and remove the pump drive belt.
5. Remove the mounting bolt.
6. Remove the power steering pump.

Check


A warning

If necessary, replace the power steering pump assembly.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the front and rear portions of the pump housing for cracks, damage, and uneven wear of the rotor.
2. Check the surface of the stator ring, mating with the blades in the absence of uneven wear.
3. Check the surface of the side plate and the pump housing, matched with moving parts in the absence of uneven wear.
4. Check the clearance between the rotor and blades.
5. Check the control valve for cracks, damage and uneven wear of the rotor.
6. Check the condition of the control valve spring.

Notes on assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set up the rotor identification mark.
2. Install the cam ring with an identification mark down.
3. Place the flat blade of ten parts in the rotor slots.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the power steering pump and tighten the mounting bolts.
2. Install the pump drive belt.
3. Connect the pump pressure hose and fix its bolt.

Torque: 44-54 N ??? m

4. Tighten the lock nut and bolt.

Torque: 37-52N ??? m

5. Connect the return hose to the pump.

A warning

Check that the white label on the return hose is combined with the white mark on the pipe.


6. Turn the adjusting bolt to adjust the belt drive the pump.
7. Connect the electrical connector to the pressure sensor.
