Oil pump

Oil pump

1 - the bearing surface (replace if necessary);
2 - O-rings (replace);
3 - a cover of the oil pump;
4 - a flange of the oil pump;
5 - the inner rotor;
6 - outer rotor;
7 - washer (replace);
8 - a spring;
9 - bypass the pressure valve;
10 - the cover of the oil pump;
11 - a stopper

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the bearing surface.
2. Remove the four O-rings.
3. In the sequence shown in the figure, equally, in several passes, loosen and remove the bolts. Remove the cover of the oil pump from the oil pump housing.
4. Note the relative position of the outer and inner rotors and remove them from the oil pump housing.
5. Remove the stopper and remove the washer, the spring and the pressure valve.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the outer rotor and the inner rotor.
2. Measure the clearance between the casing of the oil pump and the inner and outer rotors, at least four places along their circumference.

Gap
Nominal backlash: 0,02-0,04 mm
Maximum permissible backlash: 0,05 mm

3. If the clearance is not correct, replace the oil pump assembly.
4. Measure the clearance between the projection and the oil pump inner rotor, at least four places, and calculates the average value.

Inner diameter
Rated: 0,04-0,115 mm
Limits: 0.125 mm

5. If the clearance is not correct, replace the oil pump assembly.
6. Check the dimensions of the spring in the free state.

External diameter: 11.8 mm
Length: 53.0 mm
The number of turns: 12.0
The diameter of the spring wire: 1.2 mm
7. If the dimensions of the spring is not correct, replace the oil pump assembly.

8. Measure the outside diameter of the pressure valve.

Nominal diameter: 14,00 mm
Maximum allowable diameter: 13.98 mm

9. If the diameter is less than the limit, replace the oil pump assembly.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install a bypass valve and a pressure spring in a casing of the oil pump and check that the valve moves freely without jamming.
2. Install a new washer and the plug.

Torque: 32-47 N ??? m

3. Combine the labels put before removal, and install the outer and inner rotors.
4. Install the oil pump flange.
5. Replace the cover of the oil pump housing.
6. Gradually, in a certain sequence tighten six bolts securing the cover.

The inhaling moment: 8,1-10,9 N ??? m

7. Install the oil pump shaft and rotating the rotor of the pump, check the pump.
8. Replace the four O-rings.

9. Apply a layer of petroleum jelly on the surface of the bearing and place it on the cover of the oil pump.

The outer diameter of the bearing surface: 88.0 mm
