The temperature sensor of an automatic transmission



Check resistance
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the air filter.
2. Connect the ohmmeter between terminals 5 and 8 connector C145.
3. Measure resistance while heating transmission (while driving).

4. Check that the resistance is reduced in accordance with the table below.

5. Otherwise, replace the fluid in the gearbox, a temperature sensor, and connector assembly as the connecting wires.
6. Install the air filter housing.
