Reducing the pressure in the feed system

A WARNING

The power supply system of the engine injection pressure of 300 kPa (3 kg / m ^2), and therefore prohibited to weaken the connection pipes during engine operation or immediately after stopping. To carry out works of repair of the power supply system on the same drive is stopped, you must first reduce the pressure in the fuel system. After 2-3 hours after stopping the engine the pressure in the system drops to near zero.

You will need a Phillips screwdriver with a blade.

1. Turn on the neutral and brake the car a lay brake.

2. Remove the rear bench seat (see. "Removing and installing rear seat").


3. Remove the three screws that secure the hatch cover over the fuel tank ...	4. ... and remove the cover.

Reducing the pressure in the feed system

5. Press the plastic clamp, disconnect the harness connector from the fuel pump.

6. Start the engine and let it run until full development of fuel from the fuel rail. After that, the engine will stall.

7. Turn the starter for about 3 to equalize the pressure in the pipeline.

8. Connect the fuel pump harness connector and replace the parts in reverse order of removal.
