Replacement of the fuel pump
If engine power decreases, there was an increased noise or periodically heard "howling" with the fuel pump, then most likely, faulty fuel pump. Pre-check the pressure in the fuel system in the following order: - If the idling system pressure less than 265 kPa (2.65 kg / m 2), remove the pump and clean the mesh strainer fuel; - If it does not work, replace the fuel fine filter. If in this case the pressure does not increase, the fuel pump must be replaced. You will need: the key "8", a flat-blade screwdriver, pliers with thin lips.
NOTE In the process of reducing the pressure in the fuel system removed a manhole cover at the bottom of the body of the fuel pump and the fuel from the unit Disconnect the harness. |
