Removal and installation of the AT
| - Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
- Drain the ATF (see chap. Current leaving and service), - do not forget to screw the drain plug.
- Working through the engine compartment, remove the drive cable from transmission.
- Remove the two screws and remove the rear section of the console storage compartment.
- Remove the three screws and remove the front section of the console storage compartment.
- Move to the neutral position and remove the lever to switch between the transfer case (see chap. The transmission line).
- Remove the lever of selector AT (see. Section Removal and installation of the lever of selector AT).
- Having marked the position of the mounting flanges, release the bolts to the transfer case front and rear driveshafts.
- Remove the tube from the path of cooling ATF cooling radiator and transmission.
- Disconnect the wiring from the sensor and VSS-switches lights and LED reverse 4WD.
- Remove the starter motor (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
- Remove the transfer case bolts.
- Unscrew the bolts to the engine AT.
- Poddomkratte transmission jack supporting crossbeam.
- Remove the bolts cross beam, then lower and transmission assembly and remove it from under the car.
- Separate from the AT transfer case and a supporting beam.
- Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces, prepare the planting fresh sealant.
- Installation is performed in reverse order, make sure of compliance with the requirements of Specifications of the Head Automatic transmission to the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners. When connecting to the dropbox driveshafts track correctness of combination caused during the dismantling of the landing labels.
