Removing and installing selector lever AT



The design and details of the installation of the lever of selector AT

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove the front and rear sections of the console storage compartment (see chap. Body).
  1. Turn the selector AT lever to position "P", then release the fixing nuts.
  1. Remove the cotter pin and separate from the lever (1) selector rod (2).
  1. Disconnect the wiring position indicator and switch mode HOLD.
  2. Remove the retaining screw and remove the lever handle and cover.

  1. Remove the display panel (1).
  1. Loosen the retaining nut, remove the spindle bolt (1) and separate the lever from the guide plate.
  1. Lubricate these elements of the guide plate.
  1. Grease spacer, thread the lever on the regular place in the guide plate and lock the spindle bolt tightening the nut last with demanded effort (11.7 ÷ 16.7 Nm).
  1. The further installation is made in the reverse order of disassembly of components - an effort tighten the screws that secure the lever handle is 2.0 ÷ 3.0 Nm, nuts guide plate lever assembly, - 17.6 ÷ 26.5 Nm. Do not forget to restore the original wiring connection.
