Removing and installing high-pressure pump



The design of the high pressure pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect the throttle cable.
  3. Remove the service port cap of the gear drive pump.
  1. Cranking the engine in the normal direction, achieve alignment mark (1) with gear indicator with an arrow on the timing cover.
  1. By means of two bolts (1) the length of 35-40 mm, lock the gear pump from turning and release nut fixing it - do not forget to remove the nut planted a spring washer.
  1. Mark the mounting position of the mounting flange pump relative to the support bracket.
  1. Disconnect the fuel pump assembly line.
  2. Remove the retaining nut, then loosen at least three turns pump bolts.

  1. Using a special puller loosen the landing gear drive pump, then finally turn out fixing bolts and remove the pump assembly.

Do not remove the locking bolts from turning gear until the pump is not removed from the car!

  1. Remove the locking bolts and remove gear from the pump, - try not to drop the woodruff key.
  2. Installation is in the reverse order. Track correctness of combination caused during the dismantling of the landing labels, threaded fasteners, tighten with demanded effort. Finally, remove the pump from the air.
