Power supply system check

Before you perform any repair procedures, refer to the list of mandatory service in the power systems of internal combustion engines precautions (see. Section Safety and general rules adopted in the service component of fuel paths of internal combustion engines).

If any signs of infringement of serviceability of functioning of the fuel injection system, first check the reliability of a tightening of all compression fittings tract supply system. Make sure that the reason is not a violation of a basic disregard for the implementation of procedures for regular maintenance - visually assess the condition of the air cleaner and the fuel filter, a measurement of working backlashes of valves, the compression pressure in the cylinders, etc. Make sure the hose cross-crankcase ventilation (PCV).

If after the above checks reveal the cause of the violation is not possible, drive away the car to the service station for Bole detailed diagnosis - in the left rear corner of the engine compartment is equipped with a protective cover the DLC to connect a special scanner, through which it reads fault codes (DTC) identified system-board self-diagnostics and stored in the memory of the processor control unit.

Alternatively, read the DTC can be made using a special card equipped with a PC with installed software - to connect a computer to the DLC connector uses a special cable. By reading the code can easily identify the operator even hidden faults.

Remember that any unprofessional intervention into the engine management system carries a risk of irreversible failure of electronic components!

Check idle speed

Procedure test idle speed is given in Section Checking the idle speed of the Head Current leaving and service. If necessary, make an appropriate adjustment (see. Section Adjusting the idle speed).
