Removal and installation of the gas pedal, throttle cable adjustment

Cable

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The cable is fed to the gas located in the engine compartment of the accelerator pedal position sensor (see. Illustration Layout component systems reduce emissions of the diesel engine in the engine compartment). Make sure that the pedal is fully released.
  1. Measure the amount of cable slack. If the result is outside the permitted range (1.0 ÷ 3.0 mm), release the lock nut and make an appropriate adjustment by turning the adjusting nut.
  1. Do not forget after adjusting tighten the lock nut with demanded effort (15.7 ÷ 22.5 Nm).
